  - I shoot JPEG precisely because I care about color.

What kind of camera/lens do you use?
  - I use all sorts of camera bodies from different brands (Nikon, Panasonic, Olympus, Fujifilm...) and many different lenses ranging from the latest Nikkor 70-200 VR to old 50mm 1.2, as well as cheap kit lenses.

What kind of camera do you recommend?
  - Try as many cameras as you can at the shop and pick the one you enjoy using the most. Don't worry about features.

Do you have recommendations for lenses?
  - There is more variation between two samples of a given lens than between two different lenses. My advice: try different lenses and pick the one(s) that gives the best picture to your eye. Don't read reviews.
